İsmail DİKİLİTAŞ

He was born in 1975 in Adana Turkey. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Adana. He graduated from Çukurova University State Conservatory of Performing Arts, Department of Theater and Acting in 2002. In 2003, he started to teach Acting, Improvisation and Stage courses in the same department. In 2004, he was appointed as Ceyhan Municipality Culture Director. In 2007, he started to teach Acting, Improvisation, Stage and Elocution Technique (Diction) courses at Çukurova University State Conservatory Performing Arts Department, Theater - Acting Program and Fine Arts Department. In 2009, he graduated from Çukurova University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Performing Arts with his graduation thesis titled "Konstantin Stanislavskiy's Acting Method and Evolution: Vselod Meyerhold and Yevgeniy Vakhtangov's Functional Approaches to the Method". Between 2011 and 2014, he served as the Chair of Theater - Acting Program of Çukurova University State Conservatory Department of Performing Arts. In June 2014, he started to work as the Theater Branch Manager at Adana Metropolitan Municipality Conservatory and as General Art Director of Adana City Theaters. In January 2017, he was authorized as Managing Director of Adana Metropolitan Municipality Altınkoza Culture, Art and Tourism Inc. In 2017 and 2018, he was the Director of the 24th and 25th Adana Film Festival. In addition to the National competitions of the Adana Film Festival, the International Feature Film Competition and the International Short Feature Film Competitions started to be organized under his directorship. Hetook part as a jury member in the Turkish World Theater Festival held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan in 2017 and in the Theater Festivals held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in commemoration of the 90th year of Cengiz Aytmatov. As of September 2019, İsmail Dikilitaş, who started to work full-time again at Çukurova University State Conservatory Performing Arts Theater-Acting Program and continues to teach "Character Design and Practice" courses, continues his administrative duties as Department Chair, Çukurova University State Conservatory Music and Performing Arts High School Director and Assistant Director of the State Conservatory.
